First Surgery

Baby Tate had his first surgery today and it went really well. He is now in recovery and they were able to connect both ends of the esophagus and disconnected the esophagus from the trachea. We have also found out that he only has one kidney, but that it looks really well and healthy. He will be heavily sedated for the next 3 days so that he can't irritate or stretch the esophagus. He was in surgery from 2:30 till about 7:30.

    I am so glad to hear that all went well. Get lots of rest over the next couple of days Tate will need you as soon as he recovers. We love you!!
