If any one of you have any stories that you can share with me about Tatum or how he has touched your lives or anything that has anything to do with anything that I might not have remembered to write down or that I don't know about. Really anything. I am putting together a keepsake journal/scrapbook of him his life and how he changed others, and I really want to have many peoples points of views. I received my midwifes version of the birth story and I had totally forgotten some of the things she wrote about and it was nice to have her side of the story as well. I liked her feelings and emotions that I couldn't have ever known about had she not written them down and given them to me. I don't care if you think it's small and insignificant, it doesn't even have to be about me and Tate, maybe just something that his life inspired you to do or change. It would really mean a lot to me. Just e-mail it to me at Thanks!

  1. Hi,

I don't know you but I wanted to give my condolences to you for your son. My son too was born with a complex congenital heart defect, a cleft palate, and many other very serious birth defects. There is a support group, Intermountain Healing Hearts, for parents and children affected by CHD's. The group is based in Utah and Salt Lake Counties but there are many members all over the intermountain west. There is also an Angel Group that provides tremendous support.

I will pray for peace for your family through this difficult time.

  2. Well I'm sad to say that I know somewhat of how you feel with your baby. Saturday night I realized I didn't remember the last time I felt Sophi move so we went in and they told us she wasn't alive. I was almost 38 weeks. She was born and she was so beautiful. I think your strongness helped me through my difficult days. I look up to you so much!
